Peter Dougherty wins International Peace Award
The Peace Education Center congratulates local peacemaker Father Peter Dougherty on receiving international recognition for his lifetime of peace work. Father Dougherty, who founded the Michigan Peace Team, has been awarded the “International Ghandi” award–officially called the International Award for Promoting Gandhian Values Outside India.
