About the play Still Small Voices:
This original, contemporary theater piece, arranged by Rosenberg, is the first installment in the dramatic exploration of her work and travels in Israel and the West Bank. These personal accounts, stories, and observations examine the Palestinian-Israeli conflict through the still, small voices of the people involved and affected. It strives to provoke thoughts about the “humanity” of these issues. This piece is intended for audiences of all backgrounds, levels of understanding, and opinions. The show will be performed at the BoarsHead Theater, 425 South Grand Avenue, Lansing, Michigan, on Friday and Saturday, December 18 and 19, 2009, at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, December 20, at 2 p.m. Note to readers: Despite the recent announcement by BoarsHead Theater that they are closed for the season, Still Small Voices will still be performed at Boarshead on Dec. 18 and 19 as described above.
All three performances of Still Small Voices will be followed by talks with the actors, creators, and, additionally, filmmaker Nidal Al-Azraq. The event poster is available at http://tinyurl.com/smallvoices.
