SUMMARY:Mother's Day for Peace
DESCRIPTION:Join the Peace Education Center for our fourth annual Mother’s Day program and fundraiser on Friday\, May 1\, from 7 to 9 pm at the Allen Neighborhood Center! \nBring your mom\, friends\, or just come as you are. It’ll be a fun night out with good music and a mix of entertainment that ties back to the original idea of Mother’s Day as a call for peace. \nJackalope will be playing live\, with their mix of twangy folk\, western swing\, and classic covers. We’ll also have a special appearance by Julia Ward Howe\, who originally imagined Mother’s Day as a call for peace\, plus performances from Audio Air Force with their take on classic radio-style storytelling. \nSnacks will be offered. Tickets: $25\, or 2 for $45. $10 for students. These are just suggested prices\, pay what you can\, and come join the fun! \nAll proceeds support the Peace Education Center and the Refugee Development Center. \nPURCHASE TICKETS HERE!\nFLYER >>
