A PEACE-ful Potluck Picnic
Celebrate the International Day of Peace with PEC! Join us at 1pm at the Lake Lansing North Sandhill Pavilion for A PEACE-ful Potluck Picnic, where we celebrate the diverse cultures that make our community unique. We’ll share international dishes, enjoy music, play games, and connect with one another in the spirit of peace. Bring a dish that reflects your heritage, and let’s celebrate our shared commitment to peace and community.
Hosted by the Peace Education Center as part of PeaceQuest 2024, this PEC fundraiser is open to everyone—bring your friends and families!
Date: Saturday, September 21
Time: 1:00 PM – 4 PM
Location: Lake Lansing NORTH – SANDHILL Pavilion. Take the first right past the gate house and follow to the end of the parking area – the shelter lies down a hill around 20 yards away. ADA parking and access to the shelter is located in front of the playground. Several ADA upgrades have been installed including parking spots, sidewalks, and restrooms.
Cost: Bring a good-sized dish to share. Foods shared by your cultures and traditions are encouraged! This is a PEC fundraiser, donations are greatly appreciated!
There will be something for everyone!
- Pumpkin painting and coloring sheets for kids.
- Games include volleyball, cornhole, bocci ball, yard darts, and more!
