Mother’s Day for Peace

Join the Peace Education Center for our fourth annual Mother’s Day program and fundraiser on Friday, May 1, from 7 to 9 pm at the Allen Neighborhood Center!
Bring your mom, friends, or just come as you are. It’ll be a fun night out with good music and a mix of entertainment that ties back to the original idea of Mother’s Day as a call for peace.
Jackalope will be playing live, with their mix of twangy folk, western swing, and classic covers. We’ll also have a special appearance by Julia Ward Howe, who originally imagined Mother’s Day as a call for peace, plus performances from Audio Air Force with their take on classic radio-style storytelling.
Snacks will be offered. Tickets: $25, or 2 for $45. $10 for students. These are just suggested prices, pay what you can, and come join the fun!
All proceeds support the Peace Education Center and the Refugee Development Center.
