Alternative Holiday Sale 2026
The Peace Education Center’s Alternative Holiday Sale has been a Greater Lansing tradition for decades, bringing together local artists, nonprofits, fair trade organizations, and small businesses for a weekend of holiday shopping.
Shop directly with vendors, enjoy food and beverages, browse the silent auction, enter the raffle, and enjoy fun, family-friendly entertainment throughout the weekend!

VENDOR INFORMATION:
Are you a mid-Michigan artist, craftsperson, or seller of high-quality goods? The Alternative Holiday sale is the perfect opportunity for you! For over 50 years, the Alternative Holiday Sale (AHS) has been a go-to event for holiday shoppers seeking unique, meaningful gifts. By participating, you’ll gain exposure to a dedicated community that values local craftsmanship, fair-trade goods, and ethical shopping. This is more than a sale; it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and conscious consumerism.
Vendor Space Cost:
$50 for one 6ft table
$45 each for two or more 6ft tables

New Vendors
New vendors are welcome! Applications must be approved before payment is accepted.
We do not accept:
- Multi-level marketing (MLM) businesses
- Mass-marketed consumer goods
- Sale items or information promoting war, militarism, hate, or division
- Partisan political organizations or campaign materials
Plastic and single-use items are discouraged.
