Is the Left’s silence an uneasy one? Hard to say—but it should be. There are actually many legitimate reasons for unease about the current situation, not least among them the fact that not only is there no end to this war in sight, but also that there seem to be few actually looking for a realistic route to an end.

U.S. Cluster Bomb Shipment to Ukraine
The PEC is alarmed by the US’s distribution of cluster bombs to Ukraine. This weapon is banned in over 100 countries due to its indiscriminate impact, which could result in disastrous consequences. It is our strong belief that peaceful conflict resolution should be prioritized, and we encourage a global prohibition on cluster bombs.
